I am translating a section of a Spanish language Bible to English.  I'd love your help if you wouldn't mind.  Please e-mail me if you have suggestions to improve the translation.  Here's what I have so far:

Los Hechos de los Apóstoles, Capítulo 2
The Acts of the Apostles, Chapter 2

Y como se cumplieron los días de Pentecostés, estaban todos
And about when the days of Pentecost were complete, they were all

unánimes juntos; y de repente vino un estruendo del cielo como de
gathered together; and suddenly a ________ came from the sky like

un viento recio que corría, el cual hinchió toda la casa donde estaban
a _____ wind that ran, one that _____ the whole house where they were

sentados;
seated;

Caveat:

Please note I claim no special inspiration regarding my translation.  It should be noted that Spanish is NOT an original language of the Bible.  Where my translation from Spanish to English differs from scholarly translations from Greek, Aramaic or Hebrew to English, the scholarly translations should be trusted - not mine.

This page is a way to combine my interest in the Spanish Language and my interest in God's word.  It is not a substitute for reading a good English translation of the Bible in your own primary language.
